The history of the Anne Marie
Originally, the history of the Anne Marie consisted of a single web page. As we gained more and more information we realised that this would soon become unworkable. The Anne Marie Houseboat actually has two histories which have become interwoven over the years. There is her history as a houseboat and how a WW2 concrete barge became home to a wide variety of people over a period of seventy years; and then there is the alternative history of the concrete barge itself, without which the houseboat could not exist.
